The coordinator of the project is Gaziantep University. The total budget of the project is 151,530 Avro. The duration of the project is 30 months.
The project aims to provide permanent, feasible and improvable solutions to the problems faced by institutions and organizations providing social and cultural services in cities where refugee populations are densely populated since 2011. From this point of view, the institutions (municipalities, schools, hospitals, immigration administration, etc.) in Gaziantep and Istanbul, which provide social and cultural services and their authorities will be interviewed and data about the problems will be collected. Within the framework of these identified problems the expectations of institutions and organizations will be reflected as training programs for refuges. After these trainings, it is aimed to help refugees to better understand the society they live in, to increase their level of integration, to gain skills in becoming world citizens and to make progress in living together with people from different cultures.
